finally have the mood and time and passion and energy to come here and put pics. here's one post abt my WORKSHADOWING at MINDS from 10 to 21 NOV. i've got lots more things to post but start from bottom of the list first. =)
MINDS is a voluntary organisation for intellectually disabled ppl. and all are above 18. quite scary in the beginning when u saw so many of them in 1 room. i mean VERY SCARY. lol but after 2 weeks, they are really quite cute and friendly hahaha..
1 of my unit's client (tats wat they call of the intellectually disabled ppl) bring bdae cake then we sing happy bdae song hahaha. LONG TIME no eat a cake with toy cars and fake dolls lol..
then i also have the honor to follow some of them for HORSE RIDING AT RDA. SO COOL! real horses and BIG ONES! waliao i think i ride PONY before but no horse yet =) they are the luckier ppl cause ppl with Down syndrome and other illness cant go and in the end abt 10 + ppl there.

all the trainers there are ANG MO. lol so got to talk with a few ang mo uncles. 1 of them very friendly outspoken. cause me and 2 teachers standing there see them ride the horses then this uncle suddenly come forward and talk to us..
Ang mo uncle:"u know last time i work for the 1st time, i work till now."
me and 2 teachers : turn around."oh"
Ang mo uncle:" ya, u know my first work is to sweep floor. and i learn 1 thing is that .. u never sweep all the dust into dustpan. U must slowly Gather all dust and even if ur boss came by, u can say u are doing work."
Lol something like tat. then we like oo hahaha. lol

and as wingyu got this mission to decorate their dance room or performing arts room, i volunteer to help out.. cause i also very bored lol and can be with my friend! better then with the clients lol
